Hot Chicken is pretty popular in America and especially in California right now. It has become pretty popular among the youngsters in the past four years. After trying all different hot chicken places in and around california we just decided to do our own brand of the Nashville Style hot chicken.
Everyone loves fried chicken and its many forms, but there is something very special about Nashville hot chicken. Like the name implies, hot chicken is, well, hot. Most places offer various levels of spiciness, but even the most mild variations are going to pack the heat. And while the spice is undeniable, it’s not exactly what makes Nashville hot chicken so appealing. Yes, you are going to want a cold drink with your order, but Nashville hot chicken isn’t all burn but the flavor is complex with just a touch of sweetness that makes eating it a punishment and a joy at the same time.
The old name for the City of Nashville was Nashboro.. So, the original name was Nashboro for Nashville and that’s how we named it as Nashboro Hot Chicken.
How we designed our special secret sauce and spice mix?
Hot chicken places and even just sandwich places have their own special sauce. And we knew that we needed our unique one too. So, we actually came up with two sauces, the first one being the spicy one and the other being more of a tangier sauce.
The research that went into it is that we tried many different hot chicken restaurants. We tried their sandwiches and we tried their sauces and I got to almost all the restaurants in Southern California and Los Angeles. And that’s how we came up with our own recipe for our spice mix. For the sauce, we took inspiration from other restaurants. However, we also had a chef who’s from Michigan and he’s also from the South. So he knows his way around hot chicken. He knows sauces. He also helped us come up with the recipe and gave his own input. After many attempts and combining all that we came up with a pretty unique combination for both our spice mix and our sauce.
From our range of sauces anyone can get the sauce they want because the chicken is already spicy. So people who wanted a very spicy experience, they could use the spicy sauce and there’s also a lot of kids and others that can’t handle space. They can choose a different kind of sauce and it’s not spicy but a bit tangy.
What do we serve on our menu?
The main things that we promote on the menu are the combos. So we have four combos and they come with either one sandwich, one tender, or a couple of sandwiches or just a few tenders and they all come with spices from our spice mix.
Combo 1 – Spicy Singles
This combo comes with one chicken sandwich and one Tender.
Combo 2 – Hot Couples
The Hot Couples combo comes with two spicy chicken sandwiches.
Combo 3 – Naughty Tenders
This combo is for all tender lovers. It comes with 2 spicy chicken tenders.
Combo 4 – Tender Triple
This combo is for those who can’t get enough of our spicy Chicken Tenders. This Combo comes with three of our spicy Chicken Tenders.
Combo 5 – Nashburrito
The Nashburrito is one of our newest inventions, where we created a burrito made of Hot Chicken and fries wrapped in a tortilla. Try it and leave us a review
Krazy Kids Combo
At Nashboro there is something for everyone. The Krazy Kids Combo is for all the crazy kids. This combo comes with one chicken tender and one small fries.
All of our combos come with a side of Garbage Fries, Cole Slaw, Pickles and our Nashboro Special Sauce.
What are the spice choices we offer?
Nashboro Hot Chicken spice mix is a sweet and spicy seasoning or meat rub inspired by the southern flavors of Nashville, Tennessee. Our spice mix gives a burst of upfront heat that dissipates quickly with a hint of sweetness and pungency.
The spice levels we offer are as follows:
Naked:
The naked spice option is just plane fried chicken with no spice mix, and this is usually preferred by people that like the original chicken tenders without any spice.
Mild Tease:
The mild spice option is for people that want their fried chicken to be a little bit spicy but not too spicy so that it loses the flavor of the authentic fried chicken.
Bombshell:
Our Medium spice option is the most chosen one by almost everyone. This version of the spice option is best for everyone, it is spicy but not too spicy. This gives you a strong tickling sensation on your tongue which is from our secret spice mix ingredients.
Hotter Than Ever:
This is one of our hottest spice options. We add a good amount of spice mix to our fried chicken and this version of spice makes almost everyone of our customers cry.
Straight from Hell:
We call this spice version “Straight from Hell”. Not a lot of people have dared to try this version of our spice option. Rumor has it that the only true spice kings and queens can handle this amount of spice.
